Awesome stuff Tim. I almost turned it off when they started comparing humans to a gorilla and an ox, but stayed with it to record my own podcast debunking it. Want to be strong as an ox? Eat plants! What if I want to be as fat as a hippo, should I only eat plants too? Should I just ignore some of these animals have a bacterial fermentation digestive system compared to my hydrochloric acid one?

I think the host of the documentary also might want to look a little closer at his idol Bruce Lee who ate a lot of organ meats along with steak, and beef in oyster sauce.

And no disrespect to any of the athletes they feature, but they are not exactly at the top of their sports. Look at the greatest athletes in their respective sports (Lebron, Brady, Sidney Crosby, Michael Phelps, etc), they all eat animal proteins, but from grass-fed, organic clean sources.

And showing noted PED user Carl Lewis was mind-boggling. They also didn’t note that Conor McGregor was fighting two weight classes higher to fight Diaz and was 15–20 pounds lighter than him the day of the fight.

But this is all just a commercial by executive producer James Cameron for the $140 million he’s sunk into a pea protein company that his wife runs.
