The most important thing to focus on through the entire process

I finally got it out into the world — but it was like watching a newborn deer trying to walk for the first time.

It’s far from perfect (like me) and will always be a work in progress (also like me).

An important quote kept popping up everywhere I turned, which is what helped me to get this thing up sooner rather than later:

“progress not perfection”

That really is the main takeaway from this entire process that began back last summer…

The Timeline of Launching My Site

I have worked in fitness and nutrition for years but became tired of the whole industry. Earlier last year, I stepped away and traveled as much as I could.

Then a chance fitness email — that I thought I had unsubscribed from — landed in my inbox. It had a link to a nutrition site that instantly helped me rekindle my interest to share valuable health and nutrition info with others.

I then consumed every fitness/nutrition podcast I could find to keep motivating myself. I also saw how effective the online marketing movement had become.

Some health, a little marketing, and a lot of 1980s content
